A gentle welly walk on a damp green brae

This is the day

Apple blossom
Yew and holly in May

One white bluebell
Some years this plant doesn't flower

Blubells among ferns and seaves (rushes)

The progress of unchomped montbretia leaves, now the deer have more greenery to go at

Spot the leaves of a Southern Marsh Orchid among fern, cowberry and foxglove

Violets still popping up in unexpected places

New red stalks of Hard fern and, below, tormentil leaves looking robust and ready for flowering later.

Alpine Enchanter's Nightshade has spread to new places
The north-west bank

Delicate rhodie blossom. This is not one of the invasive spreading kind
