Daisies, feathers and ferns

Enjoying some spring sunshine.

Scaly Male Fern (Dryopteris pseudomas) unfurling

Wood pigeon down in the grass

Bank vole hole
We have lots of these. Neat wee beasties.

Plum blossom

Lesser celandine and , slightly later, buttercups dominate our bottom lawn at the Boggy Brae. They surround a growing clump of yellow flags (Iris pseudacorus)

And you know spring has properly come when the daisies start opening up everywhere :)
